Flood proof house

Hey guys, welcome back to my learning blog. I hope you're having an awesome day because I am.
For the past week I've been reading a book about flood proof houses and when I finished I had to make a house that could with stand a flash flood so I used tinkercad to make it. I think it was a good thing because if I didn't read the book I would probably not have the flood proof walls. Here is my work

In my opinion this activity was hard because at first I didn't know what I was going to do so then I had to do a lot more research to find a good idea but then I couldn't find any easy buildings to build so I made this one.
If I ever did this one again I would probably make one that can float so it can go over big waves. Bye

  1. Good Afternoon Alexander,
My name is Bella and I am a year 6 student who attends to Papakura Central School.I really like how you showed your house from both perspectives, above and the side. I also like how you showed what things are with information. Maybe next time you could remember full stops. Overall you did a really good job and the fact you did it on Tinkercad is great! If you want to check out my blog then I will leave a link right here. Just copy and paste it! http://pcsbellas.blogspot.com/

  5. Hi Alex,
I really like this post, and I think it would of made a big effect on the audience when you said: "I hope you're having an awesome day".

I think it would be really handy do know how flood-proof houses work, so it's good that you're learning about them.

How long did it take for you to make this DLO on tinkercad, and how long did it take you to completely learn about flood-proof houses?

    Thanks,
    Ariana, Yaldhurst Model School.

  6. Hi Alexander, my name is Mia from Yaldhurst Model School, I like the way that you have made a diagram and told us what each of the parts help to prevent water from coming inside.

I was wondering what would you do in a situation were the bath floods or something on those lines and it become a flood inside.

I was wondering what is tinkercad is, is it a website where you can make stuff?

    Awesome work!

    Mia
